Are you looking for a shared musical experience that lifts mind and spirit?
The Taghkanic Chorale is a non-profit, non-sectarian community choir that offers singers in a wide radius from Yorktown Heights the opportunity to be part of something that enriches our community and teaches members to maximize the quality of their unique voices to make one compelling sound.

Rehearsals are Tuesday nights from 7:30 to 10:00 at a church located at
1243 White Hill Road, Yorktown Heights.

New members are welcome to try us out in September without obligation to join. Have a question? Email us at or call

Members pay annual dues of $200 and purchase their music from the choir. Members are also asked to sell $100 in tickets or ads each concert season. Auditions are not required yet the high expectations the director has of the choir (and members have of each other) ensure focused rehearsals and high level performances that all can enjoy. Practice CDs or website learning aids are generally available to assist learning and sectional rehearsals are provided on an as needed basis.

While The Taghkanic Chorale's primary reason for being is to make music,
the chorale provides several opportunities to socialize including welcome dinners, a Cabaret night, group fundraising efforts and refreshment breaks at each rehearsal.
